The Barn
We have 10 fully enclosed horse stalls that are located in three areas; Main Barn, Lower Stable, Arena Stable. Adelhills Equestrian Centre facilities service our own horses and allows 6 agistment placements.
Main Barn
The main horse barn is fully insulated including walls, doors and ceiling. Outer walls on the inside of the stables are marine board lined (allowing stalls to be pressure washed) with solid wood plank dividers (which can be replaced when needed) and steel mesh so that the horses can easily see each other but can not reach each other.
There are 6 horse stalls in the main barn with wide breeze way-lane way (double entrance/exit). Main barn lane way flooring is bitumen to ensure easy cleaning and better traction than cement flooring.
All horse stalls are lighted with easy access power points to each stall via the centre lane way.
American style quick release cross-ties are available or hitching rail whichever suits your preferences for tie up.
All horse stalls have cushioned rubber flooring, automatic height adjustable watering systems, sliding doors with hands free locks, hay and hard feed feeder and mounted salt lick holder.
All horse stalls have fully removable center dividers allowing agisters with two stalls the ability to create a double/foaling stall if needed.
The facilities bathroom, tea room and tack room are located in the main barn all with lighting.
Hay storage is also located in the Main Barn. Each Agister is assigned a hay pallet for their feed. Feed space in the main barn has a loading door with direct access to road entrance for easy delivery of hay.
*While effort has been taken to ensure that the tack room is completely sealed from rodents, it is reliant on individuals keeping the door closed.
Lower Stable
The Lower Stables have two fully enclosed, lighted, lined, large horse stalls. These stalls can either be set up as two stalls attached to a single private corral attached to a single owner shared 1 acre (aprox) paddock or split reverse facing to service two private 1 acre (aprox) paddocks each with a stall.
Both stalls have tie-ups, folding saddle rack, cushioned rubber flooring, automatic watering systems, hay and hard feed feeder and mounted salt lick holder. These stalls have upper mesh divider so that the horses can see each other.
Arena Stable
The Arena Stables have two fully enclosed, lighted, lined, extra horse large stalls with a swinging centre divider that can be locked back to create one huge 10m x 3m double entranced shelter. These stalls have a large 3 acre (aprox) paddock directly accessed from them.
Both horse stalls have tie-ups, cushioned rubber flooring, automatic watering systems, hay and hard feed feeder and mounted salt lick holder. These stalls have upper mesh on swinging divider so that the horses can see each other.
Due to location away from the Main Barn, the Arena Stables have a separate tack area with three mounted saddled racks, six bridle racks, manure fork holder and hay/feed pallet that is adjacent to stalls in a lighted enclosed shared storage room.
Arena Stables have a 9,000 liter water tank with pump, which solely services the automatic watering systems in the stalls and the 3 acre attached horse paddock.
