Agisters Basic Requirements
Agisters are responsible for the health, feed and care (depending on service level) of their horse/s. Staff will assist whenever possible as needed but can not provide a 24-hour service.
All Agisters are expected to provide feed and/or hay for their horses. We ask that you maintain 3 days of feed on hand and measured up, in case of any emergency that you are unable to come and care for your horse, we are then able to easily provide your horse the appropriate diet as set out by you.
You are expected to keep your stalls tidy (unless this is an included service) and remove manure with provided ATV to designated location.
You are expected to clean your paddock at a minimum of once weekly (unless this is an included service) and remove manure with provided ATV & Trailer to designated location. (*attached corrals are to be cleaned a minimum of every other day).
Use of the community paddock attached to the Main Barn and holding corrals are required to be cleaned and manure removed directly after use in consideration for others. This paddock and corrals are commonly used to hold horse/s awaiting the farrier, dentist, chiropractor etc... and is provided for yours and the other Agisters convenience.
Agisters are expected to help maintain and keep tidy the general use areas including but not limited to the tea room, arena, round pen, tack room, wash bay, bathroom, walkways, parking areas etc... Brooms, blowers, shovels, forks, cleaning supplies, rags etc... are provided to ensure this ability.
Adelhills prides ourselves in providing top quality services in an exclusively cared for facility that is enjoyed by all and we appreciate our Agisters insuring that the facilities continue to be clean and safe for all.
